I just received press releases for two local wine dinners.
Poole’s Downtown Diner is having a special wine dinner tomorrow (August 12) with special guest Chris Travers from Mayacamas Vineyards. Starting with a champagne reception at 6:30, Ashley Christensen will be cooking a 5 course meal featuring Mayacamas wines. The cost is $89 per person, plus tax and tip.
On next Tuesday, August 19, 18 Seaboard will be showcasing the Italian wines of Enzo Boglietti. The dinner will consist of five courses paired with six wines (including 4 barolos!). Tickets are $95 per person plus tax and gratuity.
Damn it, I have plans both nights!!!
